Terms of Use
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Welcome to thedigitalresume.in. By accessing or using our website, tools, and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please review these terms carefully before using the platform.
1. Description of Service
thedigitalresume.in is an AI-powered resume to portfolio website generator. The service allows users to upload a resume in PDF format, parse the text content using generative AI models (such as Gemini), customize style settings (themes, colors, fonts, section ordering, and animations), and generate a deployment-ready private GitHub repository that is automatically deployed to a public URL on Vercel.
2. Eligibility and User Accounts
To use the generator tool at `/generate`, you must sign in using your Google account via Supabase Auth. Each Google account is eligible for one (1) free portfolio generation. Creating multiple accounts to bypass this limit is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension of access.
3. Content Rights and Permissions
You retain full ownership of any resume data, text content, project descriptions, and personal details that you submit to the platform. By uploading your resume, you grant thedigitalresume.in a limited, secure, non-exclusive license to process and extract your data solely for the purpose of generating your portfolio. The generated portfolio code is yours to keep, modify, and host.
Public Exposure, Showcase, & Marketing License: Please note that any generated portfolio website is fully public, and anyone visiting the site can view it and download your original resume. By generating your portfolio on thedigitalresume.in, you agree that your resume will be stored in your portfolio's associated GitHub repository and that you grant thedigitalresume.in a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, host, reproduce, display, and distribute screenshots, video captures, URLs, and mockups of your generated portfolio website for showcase, gallery, marketing, and promotional purposes (such as demonstrating what we have created and advertising the platform).
Removal & Opt-Out: If you wish to have your generated portfolio website removed from our showcase, gallery, or database, you can easily request deletion by:
- Submitting a request on our Feedback Page.
- Mailing your concern directly to our Grievance Officer, Prakash Swarnkar (at prakashswarnkarx10@gmail.com).
4. Prohibited Activities & Automated Security
You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purposes or to submit malicious files. To protect our users and API infrastructure, the platform uses an automated security scanner. If your uploaded resume PDF contains executable scripts, malicious code snippets (e.g. script tags, event handlers, iframe injections), or code designed to exploit systems, **your access will be immediately blocked and your Google account permanently blacklisted**.
5. Donations & Priority Access
thedigitalresume.in is an independent product developed and maintained by **Deepak Soni**. Users who wish to support the platform or request additional portfolio credits/priority updates can choose to make an optional donation (minimum INR 99) via UPI. Donations help keep the generator accessible to students and job seekers. Please note that donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
6. Third-Party Integrations
Our generator integrates with third-party platforms, specifically **GitHub** (for repository creation) and **Vercel** (for website deployment). By linking your accounts or using our deployment features, you agree to comply with the respective terms of service of GitHub and Vercel. We are not responsible for any issues, downtime, or policy violations originating from these external platforms.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Deepak Soni and thedigitalresume.in do not guarantee that the generated portfolios will be completely error-free or that the platform will always be online. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the website after modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
